Talent Q was established in 2006 by Roger Holdsworth (co-founder of SHL). Talent Q is a publisher of online psychometric assessments and training programs but also offers consultancy services. Talent Q offers several online assessments and psychometric tests, which can be tailored to the needs of a client organization and a specific job role. Talent Q essentially has 2 different assessment suites. One is the Aspects suite which is a portfolio of assessments designed for frontline volume recruitment for positions like customer service, sales, and support. The other suite is the Elements Suite. This suite is designed for recruitment for positions across all sectors and functions for supervisory, graduate, managerial and professional level jobs. Talent Q also publishes several personality tests and Situational Judgement Tests.

The Talent Q Elements and Aspects Logical test assesses a candidate's inductive/logical reasoning ability by measuring their skills in working flexibly with unfamiliar information and finding solutions. The candidate is asked to answer questions based on an incomplete series of symbols, where the candidate has to choose the missing symbol. This test typically takes around 9 minutes and consists of 12 questions.

The Talent Q Elements and Aspects Numerical test assesses a candidate's numerical reasoning ability and their understanding of tables of numerical data as well as their ability to make logical deductions. The data is presented in the form of graphs, tables, and diagrams, and several questions are asked regarding this information. This test typically takes around 12 minutes and consist of 12 questions.

Step 1 – Calculate the total playing time of game C in minutes:

0.16 x 35,405 x 4,750,000 = 26,907,800,000

Step 2 – Calculate the cost per minute:

Step 3 – Calculate the total gaming cost of the boy for the year 2017:

3,000 x 12 x 0.05946 = $ 2,140

Thus the correct answer is (C) $ 2,140

The Talent Q Elements and Aspects Verbal test assesses a candidate's ability to read, understand and interpret written information and the ability to evaluate arguments about this information. The Talent Q Verbal test consists of two parts intermediate and hard. Both tests assess your ability to interpret and draw conclusions from work-related texts.

In these exercises, you will be given a passage of professional text. Underneath the text, there is a question. You will need to answer the question by giving the correct answer based on the information in the text.

You are allowed to use a piece of scrap paper during the test. You have 1 minute to answer each question.

The Aspects Checking test usually consists of 2  tables with information, where the candidate has to check the one table with another. With this test, a candidate’s ability to accurately and quickly detect errors in data can be assessed. The test usually takes around 6 minutes.

The Talent Q Situational Judgement test, also called SJT, is designed to measure a variety of factors required to be successful in a specific job role within the employing organization. The test is customized to reflect the required competencies and specific scenarios faced. SJTs can be used to measure criteria such as key competencies, organizational values, culture fit, motivation, preferred behavior, and attitude.

In a Situational Judgement Test, you get presented with some situations. Subsequently, a few reactions to this situation are given. Your task is to choose the reaction that seems the most appropriate to you.

In the example question presented above, the most effective response is number 2. This is the most effective response as you are taking appropriate steps to ensure that the new requirements of the clients are met within the stipulated delivery deadline.
